Welcome to Strenvia — a space where strength is more than muscle. It’s a grounded way of moving, thinking, and living.
I’m Doris: a health coach, personal trainer, sociologist, and someone endlessly curious about how people move, live, and grow.
My path began in research and academia, where I explored human behaviour, health, and the social patterns that shape our lives. Over time, I shifted from academic work into hands-on coaching — but the analytical mindset stayed with me.
Alongside this, I spent years building and running Outdoor Crosstraining Ericeira in Portugal, a functional-fitness community where I coached clients of all levels outdoors. This experience shaped my approach to training: simple, adaptable, fun, diverse, thoughtful, and grounded in long-term well-being.
I hold recognised certifications in personal training, functional fitness, health and lifestyle coaching, and CrossFit speciality courses, supported by my academic background in social science. These foundations help me blend practical coaching with a deeper understanding of human behaviour, motivation, and health.
